The American Boxing Organization (ABO) was founded in 2014. It is an American non-profit organization based in Illinois. The ABO governs Regional, National, and Intercontinental Title bouts throughout the Americas, including North America, Central America, South America, the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and Puerto Rico. The organization aims to provide opportunities for boxers across these regions to compete for titles and advance their careers. 

The American Boxing Organization's founder is Juan Curiel, who also serves as its CEO and Leeroy Murphy Chairman, Vince Hudson, V. President and Marlin Q Parker ESQ and Eddie Sanchez Board Members. The ABO's vision is to award champions in title fights, and its mission is to provide opportunities for fighters who haven't previously competed for titles.
